Women's Missionary Union
Women's Missionary Union (WMU) is comprised of preschoolers, girls and women who learn about missions, support missions through prayer and giving, and are involved in missions through personal witnessing and mission action. At Clemmons First Baptist Church we have Mission Friends and Girls in Action, for our children. Women of all ages and life situations are ecouraged to be involved in one of the following groups: Bible Study, Multifocus, "I'm for Fun" for young women, or Quilting. Mission action opportunities are also provided each month.
WMU knows that missions is too good to keep within one organization of the church. Therefore, the entire church has opportunities with mission studies and church-wide participation of the Week of Prayer and special offerings such as the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering and the Annie Armstrong Easter offering to promote the missions spirit.
